The Life of St Edmund

The first English translation of an important Latin text by the famous 13th-century chronicler, Matthew Paris. A valuable, previously inaccessible source, it documents the life and canonization of St Edmund of Abingdon, Archbishop of Canterbury 1233-40, and the first teacher at Oxford about whom anything is known.
