Brian Kaufman This book is a collection of poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction. When we called for submissions, we asked for poetry that was concrete, image-driven and readable. We wanted prose that told a compelling story. We hoped for pieces that clashed, a literary argument that might yield a symbiosis of diverse styles. The resulting anthology is a mosaic of ideas and images, a celebration of the music of words. Tongue firmly in cheek, we called it Cacophony. - Judith Kaufman, Editor
