Lines of Departure is a true sotyr of one man's experiences in the European theater of World War II. Paul Kincaid, initially enlisted ofr a one year stint in the army before the war, finds heimself caught u p in th etieds of history as the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor plunges this country into war. Soon separated from his young wife,Mr. Kincaid sets out on the soldier's odyssey from training to more advanced training, to even more advanced training, to the big embarkation for combat duty overseas.
