Delicate Strength

This story is about an escort named Charlotte Meyers. During her work, she meets a doctor and divorcee named Dr. Nathaniel Taylor. Throughout her time at "the agency" there is a strict rule about not dating clients. However, she realizes she is "getting too old" and decides to leave and reconnect with herself emotionally. After leaving, she runs into the doctor again and a romance begins to blossom. Unfortunately, things aren't always easy. Due to the nature of her work, she begins to receive threats that escalate in intensity and violence. She struggles to maintain her new, fresh relationship with a man she is falling for (and battles with her own self-image issues), all while trying to figure out who wants her dead. She is, however, a survivor.
