It's July 4, 2076. Environmental disasters, magnified by a massive Comet, pummel the planet. Science fights back but out of Pandora's box comes cloning. Cloning becomes rampant.President Nash, seeking a 5th term, mandates a roundup of all Clones, sending them to an island where they will be separate but equal. Nash rules the Moralist party; the Arsonists are the opposition. Nash's mandate triggers the Second Civil War, and Texas, California, and Alaska secede from the Nation.Thallium is Nash's son; Tucker is an Arsonist soldier.
