The Snowshoeing Adventure of Milton Daub, Blizzard Trekker

Amid a terrible blizzard . . . a young boy braves the cold alone. The Bronx, New York, 1888. The snowstorm of the century has buried Milton Daub’s town under ice and snow. His family needs milk, and his neighbor needs medicine. With help from his father, Milton crafts a pair of makeshift snowshoes. He bundles up and sets out into the blizzard. Will Milton’s homemade snowshoes bring him safely home again?
