The devil's footsteps

After waking up in hospital, Lizzie Harris wants nothing more than to relax and enjoy her summer holidays. Surely going shopping on her local high street is a safe option; but danger strikes when Lizzie is least expecting it. A man is mugged in front of her eyes. Horrified by what she sees, Lizzie tries desperately to forget about the incident, but this proves impossible when the mugger turns up at her birthday party. He is not, however, as cruel and vicious as meets the eye, and little does she know that he will soon become the central part of her life. Together, the two of them set out to fulfil their destiny; to destroy the devil and, in doing so, bring about the next age of our universe.
