Reminiscing about her life’s failures after witnessing the last of her single friend’s marriage to her college sweetheart, Nora drowns herself in alcohol when an attractive stranger catches her attention. Though he shows an interest in the successful career woman, she rejects him, but the stranger is persistent and makes a second attempt the following day. Jason was on the brink of being rejected again when Nora discovers a common interest between them, and it ends with them spending their day enjoying each other’s company.
