When Detective Kate Rosetti is startled awake in the middle of the night by a phone call from her mother, she knows it’s not good news. It turns out Kate’s father, the notorious Angelo Rosetti, is missing. There are no witnesses and no leads, and with only a week to go before Christmas, Kate hopes to find her father before the New Year. As Kate begins the hunt for Angelo Rosetti, she gets another case added to her plate at the precinct. A local man is gunned down in front of the neighborhood co-op. The fact that he was shot five times points to a story darker than that of a happily married suburban husband. Kate dives headfirst into both cases, determined to wrap them up before the Christmas holiday. However, when too many coincidences began to reveal themselves, Kate’s worried the story is more twisted than she could ever imagine.
