Miriam Winthrop's world suddenly comes crashing down around her when she discovers that her husband, Claude, is infatuated with another woman--a woman who is beautiful and sophisticated. Determined, Miriam forms a plan. She will fight fire with fire! And so she enters the world of high society, gaining acclaim as a woman of interest and beauty.
