Abandoned in a bucket…to new adventures in Greece The delightfully comic account of a British couple and their imported cats starting over in a new country continues in Bucket to Greece Volume 10. Unshaven, sweaty and wrapped in a blood-soaked apron is not a good image for our hero, Victor, when he is arrested by the local Greek constabulary. Norman, inspired by Victor’s cookery classes, fancies himself as a budding patisserie chef and cooks up the next expat dinner. Doreen’s nose is put out of joint when the Stranges drag their flatulent dog along and Marigold is all agog to discover who Sherry is sneaking around with. A couple of random free-loaders turn up with their cases expecting to holiday with Vincent and Margaret, Violet Burke cultivates a lapsed Jehovah’s Witness and Guzim breeds his pet rabbit. A Peeping Tom catches Marigold in a state of undress and Norman’s illuminated traffic cones cause havoc in the village. If you’re a fan of Greek travel and culture then the Bucket to Greece series is a must, with a bucketful of laughs along the way.
