Saving Pookie: A Marie Jenner Mystery Short

Marie Jenner’s going to a Hallowe’en party. Unfortunately, it’s being held at the house where her boss, Gerald the Tyrant, lives. More unfortunately, a cat named Pookie lives there, too. Gerald loves that cat, but he’s not the only one. Goldie, a street person from Gerald’s neighbourhood, is convinced that Pookie is hers, and she wants him back. The problem is, Goldie’s dead, so she’ll need some help. All Marie wants is a little bit of fun. She isn’t going to get it.
