This volume features two long the title work - a translation & partial transposition of the Gilgamesh epic - and the mixed work in verse and prose, Jacob, originally published in the 1990s and long unavailable. In both works history, myth and the present collide. Jacob was shortlisted for the Hawthornden Prize when first published.
