The Companion Witch

A vampire receiving death threats. A witch with secrets and a dark past. Lucy Mills is better known as Lulu at The Cat’s Meow, a glamorous cabaret club that caters to the adventurous types. Lauded as a talented companion witch with a knack for squashing supernatural disputes, she’s about to be hit with her hardest job yet: the handsome and incredibly stubborn Lord Magnus. Lord Magnus is in trouble. The youngest son in a high-ranking vampire clan, he’s refused to take over his destined leadership role and now, he's receiving death threats from some unknown evil. His brother places him under house-arrest for his own safety at the clan’s family estate. Magnus's brother approaches Lulu with a request to guard Magnus and find the unknown enemy. If she succeeds, she’ll be paid handsomely and may be able to finally help her ailing mother back home. If she fails, she could end up dead. But Magnus is much more than Lulu ever expected from a vampire and the sparks between them might blow this whole operation up in flames.
