Escaped To Death

After a disastrous confession, Sadie Cooper needs an out. She's done with her hometown, done trying to right old wrongs. When someone from her past arrives badly wounded and in trouble, Sadie throws herself into the mess, running away to rural Tennessee to try and fix the situation. But with her life in turmoil, Sadie is unable to maintain her usual protective cover. Soon she begins to reveal more of herself than she ever intended, opening up, letting the newcomer see the real her, the one she usually keeps hidden from everyone but her life long best friend, Luke. Deep in the backwoods, surrounded by mystery and danger, Sadie and her companion have only each other. For Sadie, that might be more dangerous than the person who's tracking their every move.
