Hector is a finance expert, living with a political operative trying to get a new Senator elected in New York state. When New York decides to allow people to buy and sell votes, Hector buys votes, enough to decide who will be the next Senator from New York. He then begins to learn, the hard way, whether or not his love of money is tempered by a conscience.
