The unthinkable has occurred. The 45th President of the United States waged war with North Korea, leaving a wake of destruction and a new world order for Em and Lise to navigate. After ten months in their cozy bomb shelter, they emerge to a world where the vegetation is surprisingly unaffected. Should they band together with other survivors or try to make it on their own? There are others in the new world. Are there friend or foe? Should Em and Lise band together with a new group or try to make it on their own?
