War is no home for heroes. Corporal Reed Montgomery has served in the Marine Corps for three years. He’s never called himself a hero. He’s a soldier with a job to do: move two fuel trucks through the heart of war-torn Iraq into Baghdad, and don’t get killed. His team is a mismatch of veterans, civilian contractors, and one rookie private who has an entirely different outlook on war; an outlook that will force Reed to reinterpret what it means to defend justice.
