Four Moons

The Uran are consolidating their main battle fleet around the moons of Saturn and have re-opened the ancient fuel-mining platforms. The stories circulating through the system speak of a growing arsenal of advanced weapons. Amid the rising terror of invasion, the two academics, Qira and Nessum, return to their home city on the moon Ganymede. Together, they attempt to instigate the former union of the Galilean peoples. But Qira has other, secret plans and Nessum, who can read her better than any other, knows this. But before he can work out Qira’s plans, he must face up to the dark decisions he made with his Uran allies. Elsewhere in the system, the damaged soldier Li, returns to his parent’s module on the orbiter, Crespuscular. It’s not long before he’s dragged into helping a crew of Martian returners, and drawn into the inner circle of their charismatic leader. But his past is never far behind him, and his former paymasters soon come calling. Some want to know what happened in the Uran Archipelago; others are far more interested in the Walkralla Monastery. Meanwhile, the Configurations that were lost, the Ganymede Sleepers, lie out of sight, forgotten except in myth. Do they even exist? If they were found, would they help humanity? Or try to destroy it?
