A Change of Jungles

The well-known sailor, travel writer, and conservationist, Miles Smeeton wrote this fine account of his experiences in fighting in the Western Desert and then the jungles of Burma with the British Indian Army during World War II. He then recounts the post-war struggles of himself, and his wife, to reclaim a farm in the wilds of British Columbia from a jungle of neglect and disuse.
