Ballad of Blood

In the wake of the Battle of Primeval, Elaria and her consorts are trying to settle into a routine that will satisfy their responsibilities as well as their desire. But there is one responsibility that Banning refuses to commit to; taking the Blooder crown from his father. As King Sorin's attempts to persuade Banning grow desperate, Banning becomes even more steadfast in his refusal. If a compromise can't be made, the Spellsinger's next song could be a ballad of blood.
