For the first time, all three books from the world of The Fountain come together! The story starts with The Fountain with Juan, who has searched the Caribbean to find the island of Bimini and the healing waters of the Fountain of Youth. Soon, he finds himself in a race against Diego Colon Columbus, the son of Christopher Columbus to see who will take Bimini and all within the island. The story takes a twist when Juan actually discovers the fountain. The fountain is guarded by the strange men of Nod and Juan soon learns that the fountain is actually a doorway to the Garden of Eden. He is shocked to learn that his lifelong friend Christopher Columbus is not actually dead but had previously also discovered the fountain and now lives within the Garden of Eden. Meanwhile, Juan must fight for his family, titles, and land against Diego, the native warriors of Bimini, as well as Hernan Cortez and the Aztec Empire. This is the tale of Juan Ponce de Leon and his discovery of La Florida. The story continues with Intensity, whose story wasn’t unique. His son had died of fever at age three. His wife died shortly after by her own hand. He was alone in the world. When the war came, he headed out west. He found the West wasn’t what he expected. The horror of his family’s death was only the beginning. There are those who can help but they are reluctant to face the bane of their ancestors. In a world where everything wants him dead, he is just trying to stay alive. The story concludes with Jack, a brilliant physicist. But Jack has other ambitions in mind. With the help of his assistant, the two create a microchip, when implanted into the human brain, allows for time travel by thought alone. What Jack doesn’t realize is that the microchip also taps into darker regions of the brain. Jack travels back to nineteenth century England and soon becomes the most ruthless serial killer in history. Jack’s assistant has always been interested in true crime and wonders if modern science can help unmask crimes of the past. What better wave of crimes than those of Jack the Ripper? Unknowingly pitted against each other, Jack and his assistant play a game of nineteenth century cat and mouse to see who can uncover the truth, and who can keep secret Jack the Ripper.
