Earth 2.0

They were all running from the inevitable silence that was creeping on Earth. This entire mission had been an act of desperation – until they got here and saw this place. “We’ve found something interesting,” Jim said in to the radio. “We’re taking really good samples for you at the base of that huge rocky outcropping.” Earth is dying and this planet might just be the new home they've all been searching for.
