Whacker was always a TV freak so when Maura gets on The Late Late Show, he jumps at the chance of seeing a programme in the making. Soon he finds that behind the excitement of television there is cut-throat competition. He meets a ruthless man who will stop at nothing to become a TV director. When Whacker s producer friend as well as the director who had given Maura her big chance and even the glamorous singer Sylvia all became his victims, May goes into action. Soon the whole gang is plunged into a dangerous struggle that threatens the television series on which Maura has pinned her it may even threaten her life.
