Trigger Vengeance

When Dr. Eliot Carey arrived at Soltura, a small settlement of ranchers and sheepmen, to take up a friend's practice, he thought that life in the West was going to be quiet. But things began to happen. Following an express train robbery, Eliot was called to save the life of an escaping outlaw. He did it--the outlaw vanished, and the doctor kept his professional secrets and did not give him up to the law. But trouble soon followed and it was only when he found himself facing an unmasked killer, a gun in his hand instead of his doctor's kit, that the favor he had done for an outlaw who was not all bad, saved his life.
