Segovia is located in the centre of Spain, in the Autonomous Community of Castile and Leon. Segovia is a city with unique monuments among which the Roman Aqueduct stands out. Such a stunning monument surviving in the heart of a vibrant modern city is nowhere else in Spain. Also other outstanding monuments can be seen in the the Alcazar, several Romanesque churches, the Gothic cathedral, the Segovia Mint, noble palaces. Architectural development of Segovia is a fine example of the coexistence of different cultural communities throughout centuries.
