Drawny, belligerent and sort of unappetizing, this blend of waterfront dives and dialogue setting off complications among wealthy shipping line, a missing son, a symphomanisc daughter-in-law, and a Nazi angle. The author of Five Alarm Funeral goes over to the New York Harbor police when Lt. Koski, of the Marine Division, gets bits and pieces comprising a corpse, and has problems of identification as well as solution. We found it one we could have gladly missed.
