William M. Thompson The story of Francis Cummins Lockwood, 1864-1948. Dr. Lockwood was a Methodist-Episcopal minister in Salt Lake City from 1896 to 1898. He spent the rest of his professional life a a professor of English literature, and as a historian. He was associated with the University of Arizona at Tucson from 1916 until the late 1940's.
