Kekkaishi, Vol. 14

By night, teenager Yoshimori Sumimura is a "kekkaishi"--a demon-hunter who specializes in creating magical barriers around his prey. By day, Yoshimori's got other demons to battle: an addiction to sweets and a seriously crotchety grandfather! Yoshimori's pretty neighbor and childhood friend, Tokine Yukimura, is also a kekkaishi, but their families are feuding over who is the true practitioner of the art. While his big brother Masamori takes heat from the fearsome Council for the calamity at the Karasumori site, Yoshimori attempts to outsmart an ayakashi who saps his opponent's strength with mind games. Then, when Yoshimori decides to play Good Samaritan and help a raven-like ayakashi, will he end up crowing with pride or swearing "nevermore"...?
