Water always adds interest to a walk in the country, and here is Hampshire, blessed with so many wonderful rivers. There are the Greats - the Test and the Itchen; the smaller ones such as the Meon, Hamble, Beaulieu, and Avon; in addition there are those which are little known but just as attractive such as the Wey, the Dever, and the Wallington. If this was not sufficient there is also the county's magnificent Solent coastline to explore, plus minor waterways like the Baskingstoke canal. There are 20 circular simple walks covering the whole county and all between 2 and 5 miles in length.
