The mystical Orchid Medal, forged thousands of years ago in ancient China, is one of the most potent magical artifacts in the world...and for the past year Jenny Li, a pretty darn ordinary college student, has been using its powers to fight crime in the seaside city of Santa Florentina. Her life has become a confusing whirlwind of supervillain battles and missed classes, and although she tries her best, she's never been able to shake the feeling that she's just a phony, an ordinary person pretending to be a hero. Her problems are about to get a lot bigger, though: a dangerous sorcerer has just come to town, and it's fallen to Jenny to unravel his sinister scheme.
