A novel that crosses three continents 1974. Muna is a thirteen-year-old Indian orphan working in Bombay. Separated from her younger sister, Sita, not a day goes by that she does not think about her. All six-year-old Sita has known are the orphanages in Nasik and Mumbai where she has grown up. She dreams of finding new parents. Solomon, an eight-year-old Ethiopian boy living in Addis Abeba, is discovering that his world is changing without understanding why. The lives of Solomon, Muna and Sita will converge between Addis Abeba, Bombay and Barcelona, crossing borders and cultures, beyond their shared pasts and imagined futures.
