Prize Winning Plays

There are two plays in this publication. The first is "Trial" which won the first prize in the Singapore National Playwriting Competition organised by the Ministry of Culture in 1982. The play reflects Singapore`s transition from the early days of independence to the second phase of nation building. The second is "The bridge" which won the first prize in the First Singapore National Playwriting Competition organised by the Ministry of Culture in 1977. The theme of this play is drug addiction and rehabilitation.
