Master to Lord: Part IV

After an apocalypse various kingdoms rose to replace the old system. In this new system, a particular kingdom is that of the Deviants. In this kingdom we have slaves, Masters/Mistresses and Lords/Ladies. This series is about a particular Master's rise to greatness. His slave desires a lifelong contract, but before he can give her what she desires, he must first become a Lord through the Rite of Lordship where he must learn the true meaning of suffering. This is the fourth short story in the series.
