Volume Twenty-Seven contains the works of Lenin written between February 21 and July 27, 1918.It includes reports, speeches and articles reflecting Lenin’s work as leader of the Communist Party and the Soviet state in the period of the struggle for peace, for Soviet Russia’s revolutionary withdrawal from the imperialist war, for consolidation of Soviet power and for the development of socialist construction during the respite that followed the conclusion of the Brest peace.
