Lois and the Red Balloon: A story of loss and belief.

Lois is a bright and inquisitive little girl. She comes second youngest in a large family with 11 brothers and sisters, so to say she gets left out would be an understatement. Quiet and sensible Lois was quietly her dad's favorite. She loves he daddy and looks forward to the little surprise gifts he brings her after his long work days between driving his dump truck and being volunteer Fire Chief for the little town. Lois had a simple life with few pleasures but surrounded with love in her small neighborhood. What Lois does not know is that life is full of unpleasant surprises just around the corner. She finds out a little more about herself and how precious some things are in life.
