LANDING ON WATER: Dick Foster's B.O.A.C. Flying Boat Album

Around 1950, Dick Foster put his collection of flying boat photographs into an album and carefully annotated them to produce a pictorial record of his time with British Overseas Airways from 1946 to 1949. He then put them away and they remained unseen, forgotten for 65 years until his son found them in the bottom of an old battered suitcase. This is the album reproduced as he left it in 1950. The albums give a fascinating insight to the long lost world of travel by flying boat.
