Sherlock Holmes: Cthulhu Mythos Adventures

A collection of stories featuring Sherlock Holmes' cases which involve HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos creatures. Of particular interest is "The Adventure of the Ancient Gods," the first story (1981) to portray a Holmes/Lovecraft crossover. This seminal story has been out of print for many years and was available only to collectors at very high prices. The same can be said of "The Terror Out of Time" (2002), the first teaming of Sherlock Holmes and Professor Challenger, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's scientific adventurer, against Cthulhu-like entities. The other stories in the collection have not been previously published and illuminate little known or unsuspected aspects of Holmes' life, career and character.
