The night Kate died, the whispers began to spread through the town pubs and over the garden fences. "That girl wasn't right in the head," they'd say. "Spoke of another world. He believes helping her will atone for abandoning Kate, but all he has to go on is a name and place scribbled on a piece of paper and a necklace that allows him to feel her heartbeat and emotions. Riftwalkers is a fast paced epic fantasy, sometimes dark, but ever hopeful that will keep you guessing until the explosive conclusion.
