Gill and the Beanstalk

Gillian Germaine Holland--Gill--is sent to live with her Aunt Phyllis in order to go to school while her parents travel throughout the British Empire. At the back of Aunt Phyllis's property is a large cliff covered in vines--and for Gill, it is the magical beanstalk of all the old tales. When Gill musters up her courage to climb the beanstalk and see if an ogre really does live at the top, her world is no longer the same.
