The Greek Passion

This novel tells the story of a Greek village under Turkish domination and of how the lives of the villagers are changed--some to tragedy, some to self-fulfillment--by the roles they play in the annual drama of the Passion of Christ. The Greek Passion was made into the film He Who Must Die.
