Available on Amazon as a paperback 'That's Life in a Blue Suit'. The Ministry of defence gave the author full written permission to publish this novel using ship's names of the time (now scrapped). The new title 'A Cold War Convoy' reflects the NATO element in the universal content of the book, not just the Royal Navy. The fictional content of this 'Roman a Clef' set loosely in the 1957-1959 Mediterannean commission of the 4th destroyer squadron is trully colloquially correct. It shows the trials and tribulations of four young ordinary seamen from their first draft into the Home Fleet, right through to the surprising conclusion.PG 15. Parents must assess this book before allowing access to their children. It is not a cosy novel. It is historically correct in its dialogue.
