Hometown Band

Bryan, Ohio is a typical American small town in many ways, but it has a very special tradition—its hometown band. Town bands were a tradition in this country starting in the 1800s. Bryan's was founded in 1852. Over the years town bands have gone in and out of fashion, but Bryan's has continued to this day. This unusual longevity is chronicled in this history by a longtime member. The band has played through our country's wars, good times, and bad times, but it is always a story of people having fun by entertaining others.
