The Holy Spirit: The Helper We All Need

The Third Person of the Godhead. The Comforter. The Spirit of Truth. The Sanctifier. The revealer of the deep things of God. He is known by those names and more. No one has ever seen Him, though many have witnessed His power in demonstration. Her has a mind, a will and emotions. And He strives, teaches, testifies, convicts, guides, comforts, aids, reveals, sanctifies and commands. He is present everywhere at all times and is all-knowing. He is the power in source in the lives of believers. Most Christians have heard of Him, although few know Him intimately. But He can be received--as a gift. He, of course, is the Holy Spirit, the Helper we all need. Jesus said in John 14:26: "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
