On April 28, 1996, a comic strip about “three aliens, a clone, a telepathic dog and a 220-lb hamster” appeared on the world wide web. One of the first webcomics, Melonpool attracted a loyal fan base with its sci-fi parodies, riffs on popular culture and, of course, crazy time travel stories. Now, collected for the first time in print is the sixth and final collection of comics by cartoonist Steve Troop. In addition to reprinting the final 318 strips (November 15, 2004 – November 2, 2005) with annotations, this 216-page book also contains: • A 32-page recap of the Melonpool adventures features in the first five Melonpool collections • Both sides of the Melonpool/Zortic crossover (with commentary by Zortic creator Mark Mekkes) • Melonpool reimagined by Dan Shive (El Goonish Shive) and Yamcha Hibikii (Fusion D) • 29 additional Melonpool comics tying up some of the loose ends from the original comic run. • And much, much more!
