In echos of dreams we remember being watched. Uneasiness. Knots in the pit of your stomach when you know something isn't quite right. Dark shadows from our own subconscious.
Here in waits three short stories that explore the darker parts of obsession, duty, and faith.
*Scarecrow*
On a lost and forgotten road a scarecrow watches over a dusty patch of land. He is the lone witness to a crime.
*Necropolis*
Centuries ago gods and goddesses walked among the people. The forgotten godlings now skulk in the dark depths of catacombs, and forgotten tombs. They wait for the unsuspecting, ready to take what once was freely given to them.
The Fates now fight to capture, or kill, what's left of the gods. One to see the future, one to see the past, and one to join them together in the present, their duty is to serve those who once served them.
*Smother and Bake*
Some desires should not be seen by the light of day. We keep them hidden, concealed, and in control.
Thomas watched the flames but never touched them, his desires unfulfilled, until a strange man offered him a chance to touch his obsession.
Some mature themes.
