Silhouettes in Cross Stitch

Although the art of cutting out paper profiles may have died out, cross stitch lends itself perfectly to the tradition of producing outlines in a single colour on a background of a contrasting colour. This book includes some charts for what may be regarded as "traditional" silhouettes - that is, profile portraits. The designs in this book include a wide range of motifs and illustrations, which can be used singly or combined with each other, to create some unusual and attractive projects.
