Deathly Brewed

Before work each day, Connie enters a local cafe known as Deathly Brewed. Little does she know it’s run by fellow deathlings—individuals who sit vigil for those who would otherwise die alone. Noel, a barista at Deathly Brewed, cannot help but take notice of the new regular. His social anxiety frequently stills his tongue. Yet when she enters one morning looking rather despondent, he decides to take action. Together, the pair find healing from external and internal stressors. And during this journey, they learn they have more in common, enough where something may just develop between them.
