Anna: American Journey

When 15-year-old Anna and her mother see the Statue of Liberty from their steerage class porthole in March 1914, their immigration journey from Lithuania is not over. Anna faces a medical challenge ont Ellis Island. As they continue their travels, she experiences how people distain, fear and prey on immigrants. On the train to Chicago Anna discovers a terrifying secret that puts the lives of hundreds of innocent people at risk and also endangers her own life.
