A gripping family drama and thriller. Crystal Hendricks fought the Taliban in Iraq - only to encounter a nascent version of it in her new town of Delta Junction, Alaska. U.S. Army Combat Medic Crystal Hendricks is injured in a roadside explosion in Iraq in 2008. As she struggles with the death of her father, a drug-addicted mother and joblessness, Crystal is pushed into combat again when she stumbles upon Alaskan militia leader Sherman Croft. Some say Croft is intent on saving America; others call him a terrorist. Unarmed and freezing to death, Crystal must escape a lone stretch of the Alaska Highway as Croft stalks her in the night.
